Fibreglass Signs in Many Shapes and Sizes

Fibreglass (GRP) have a massive advantage over other sign systems. Although comparatively light, they are extremely strong and, therefore, resistant to vandalism and weathering. The ability of fibreglass to be molded offers shapes and sizes which could be cost prohibitive in other mediums, i.e. wood and metal. Its coefficient of expansion is very low, so unlike other materials, such as acrylic, you do not have to worry about expansion or contraction with temperature.

The sign boards are manufactured to any RAL colour plus black and white. The colours are a shade guide only as the actual signs are much richer and brighter, as you would expect from pigmented fibreglass. Click here to see a selection of RAL colours.

One of the signs above has full-colour printed vinyl applied to the fibreglass, while the others have longer-lasting cut vinyl lettering. It is important to note that the printed vinyl colour will never precisely match the fibreglass colour. If this is unacceptable, we suggest using a contrasting colour or cut vinyl lettering applied directly onto the fibreglass board.

The Cut Vinyl Lettering is longer-lasting than printed vinyl, as fading is much less of a problem. The reflective vinyls are even tougher, but the colours are limited. Full-colour printed vinyl can be stunning with good artwork. The prices shown are for full-colour vinyl within the border. However, we are able to do a full-color wrap that also covers the border.

Wall Mounted Pub Signs & Hanging Pub Signs

On this page we have our range of fibreglass pub signage. Within this range are a number of excellent pub signs, some being wall mounted and some being double sided and supplied with brackets, ideal for hanging pub signs. The moulded edge enhances the whole appearance and gives it that traditional pub sign look.

There are lots of other shapes and sizes in the range - even a very stylish fibreglass A-Board. This looks really good outside your pub or restaurant when it matches the main signage.

Our contemporary rectangular tray signs offer excellent value for business signage. They can also be custom-made in other sizes at comparable costs. Other styles can be tailored to bespoke sizes or shapes. However, please note that the set-up charges for custom shaped orders are approximately £600, making it cost-effective only if you require several signs in that shape.

Fixings

Below are four different ways of fixing your signs. Please specify which you require when placing your order.

Type A - The board is supplied without holes or brackets. It can be fixed with screws through the face. An alternative method of wall-fixing is to use two battens of wood top and bottom, and fix these to the wall and then the sign to the wood. This entails screwing through the top and bottom of the sign and so not marking the face.

Type B - These small fixing brackets can be supplied with the sign @ £5 per sign

Type C - Another method of post mounting is to have fixing channels fitted. @ £40.  4 Clips at £20 (2 per post)

Type D - Brackets are fixed to the back of the sign which can be used to bolt onto square posts and rails. £40 for 4 brackets
