Our wooden stable door name plates are available in three beautiful timbers – Oak, Sapele, and Iroko. Each has its own unique character: oak with its timeless strength, sapele with a rich mahogany-like finish, and iroko with the golden tones of teak.
Traditional and elegant, these wooden signs are a popular choice for adding character to stable doors while offering strength and long-lasting quality.
Prices include 6 letters - extra letters £1.10Iroko is naturally full of oils, making it highly durable and able to withstand the weather even without treatment. For oak and sapele, we apply three coats of tough satin varnish to protect the wood while enhancing its natural beauty. Iroko plates are usually finished with Devon Oil, which nourishes the timber and brings out its warm colour.

We use only the highest-quality engravers’ brass to create our traditional name plates. The deep engraving can be left unpainted for a classic finish or infilled in a choice of colours, including white, black, blue, green, orange, or red. Cast Iron Horse Name Plates
Each of our Horseshoe Signs is handmade using its own mould, making every piece completely unique. Designed to look just like a real horseshoe, the outer section is moulded in detail and finished in a smart steel-grey.
At the centre is a raised name bar with crisp raised lettering and a rounded border, all cast in one solid piece for strength and durability. The lettering is hand-painted in white for a bold contrast against the horseshoe surround.

ToughPrint - Encapsulated Aluminium - Stable Door Signs
These stable door signs have been made in rust proof aluminium which is completely encapsulated. They are exceptionally durable, moisture resistant, abrasion and scratch resistant, acid resistant and they can even be used in very harsh weather conditions including by the sea.
Superb Colour Quality with long term UV resistance ie it last for years without fading. (BS3900 for colour fastness)
Lettering can be in most standard fonts and can be in UPPER or Lower case. Colours are normally Black, White, Cream, French Blue, Burgundy or Racing Green. Other colours are also available on request. 2 or 4 holes drilled as required.
