When two of our sign makers were married at Yelland Farm we obviously made all the wedding signs, table decorations and picnic tables. We then realised that we really should have wedding signage on our website. Included below are some ideas but as all our signage is bespoke we can make your wedding signs and paraphernalia just the way you want.
As well as the event signage we can make place name table settings, sand blasted jars, engraved photo frames, donations boxes or anything else you might want made in our workshops. We have included some ideas below but just tell us what you need.

Painted Wooden Wedding and Event Signage
Quality signage for events can make a huge difference to the special day. If you are looking for a more traditional-looking sign with painted letters, these sign boards may be your answer. The board is a wood-based board made using a high-performance resin. It is very stable, strong, durable and weatherproof.
The signs can be made to any size along with your choice of font and images to be used. We can also match to any Farrow and Ball, Dulux or RAL colour.
General Wedding Signs
We recommend using aluminium composite with vinyl lettering for general information signs such as "No Parking" or "Toilets." This material is lightweight yet strong and durable. Its weatherproof nature means it can withstand various outdoor conditions. Furthermore, aluminium composite is available in a wide range of colours, allowing for customiation to match any event or location theme.
Alternatively, for those seeking a different aesthetic, we offer painted wood-based boards. Our 5mm plywood options provide a charming rustic look, perfect for events or venues with a more natural or vintage style.

Sand Blasted Glass Jars
We offer the option to sandblast glass jars, transforming them into elegant table decorations for flowers or tea lights. Our sandblasting technique allows us to create intricate designs, leaving areas unblasted to form shapes like hearts or bells. For a personalised touch, we can also sandblast the names of the bride and groom onto the jars. Free Standing Signs
These painted free-standing signs are perfect for weddings and events. They can be used repeatedly, are very well made, and are suitable for outdoor use.
They can be made with painted hardwood and painted lettering to match your theme. The natural wood free-standing signs are made with the hardwood Iroko and can be supplied with or without plaques.
Table Name Signs
It is important to have your table names or numbers clearly marked to save any confusion but at the same time you will want the table name signs to work within your wedding theme and colours. We offer an assortment of table names and table numbers in various materials shown below. If you want your table names to be made in a different material, do ask us for a quote.
Painted & Laser Etched Signs
This technique combines the skills of several craftsmen and is very useful for painted wooden signs with many detailed images or very small text. It is made using the wood-based board Tricoya, which is virtually rot-proof.

We have over 30 different sets of cufflinks for weddings. There are cufflinks for the Groom and for The Father of The Bride. They include clocks with dates for the time and date of the wedding. Round Slate for Cake Stands an Table Centres
We offer several sizes of round slate, perfect for use as wedding cake stands or centerpiece settings. These versatile pieces can beautifully showcase flowers and/or candles placed in the center, with the option to include table names or numbers for added personalisation.
Our round slates are available in various styles and a wide range of letter colours to suit your event's theme. In the image shown, a band iwas sand blasted into the slate, then painted, and then the wording and design laser etched into it. If desired, we can extend the colour over the sides for a more cohesive look.

Magnetic Signs

Painted signs have increased in popularity in the last few year. While the signs and posts have a clean modern feel there is something very traditional about them. Normally posts come ready to be buried into the soil. However for weddings and events we are often asked for free standing finger-posts which our carpenter can make
Embossed & Enameled Vintage Plates
These vintage style signs and name plates are gorgeous. They are made using traditional methods developed originally for car number plates. Some of the dies for the embossing process are 80 years old! Each plate is hand made and then hand sprayed using stoving enamel.
